My friend Lauren Ashman draws quite well. She also lives right down the road from me. She has a fantastic view of Table Mountain from her balcony. She scribbled on one of my new boards and I’m very stoked with how it turned out. Heads will roll.

She also made these on her sexy Imac. I really like them. I think they should be on Skate/Snow/Wake Decks.  -

Got some new sticks yesterday!

Decided to order one rounded pin. I used to always ride RP’s but stopped a few years back. I’m not sure why. Tasha says it’s cos 5 years ago all the cool kids were riding squashes and I wanted to be cool. hmm. I like the way squashes feel. But lets see how I like the RP again.

I am in love. Like for real. This board is amazing.  Baron sent it down to me yesterday – I’ve surfed it twice now and it’s AWESOME. 5’2 x 19 x 2 1/2 .  I’ve been riding it as a thruster but the plugs are set up so that I can ride it as a quad if I want. It’s so loooooose but also has a ton of drive.  You NEED to get one of these boards. Seriously. Listen to me.

I’m up in Ballito at the moment. It’s RAINY and the sea is FLAT!  nooo waves ! So Tammy Lee and I have decided to shape our own surfboard.  We found an old blank in the shaping bay here at the Secret Spot and starting cutting it down today. Will post pics and video as we go along. Oh ya, her name is JULIA
