In other news, Cape Town is rainy and cold today. I have had to purchase a flashy new hot water bottle to combat ankle stiffness. It seems to be working. Please also check out the Innersection website. RAD.

Today I surfed Big Bay. Tyron took photos. The waves were not good. I am fine with that at least there has been a bit of swell.

I’m on the verge of looooooosing my mind. It’s really getting serious. I need to surf.  It’s been about 3weeks (maybe 4??) since there was any decent swell in Cape Town.  It is a big problem. I’m really considering going up to Durban 3 weeks before I need to be there, just to surf onshore fun bowls next to those tasty piers.

Mr T-Kan put this sequence of me up on FaceBook, so I thought I’d post it up here cos I don’t have any fresh pics due to laaacckk of waves. Haha.

These pics are from last week Thursday, maybe Friday.  Or Wednesday? I dunno.  I’m not going to say where this spot is, but I will say it’s after Big Bay but before Van Strand. haha. I drive by this wave a few times a day, and I hardly ever surf it. I don’t really even stop to check it out.  BUT from now on I  WILLLL !!!!!  We had it to ourselves for about 2 hours, then the wind came up as a few other dudes paddled out. NICE haha.  Thanx Ty for the pics.

I have had a few reaaallly fun sessions during the last few weeks. Spotted the ‘Sponsor me Shootout’ boys ripping down at Melkbos. I’m really glad that Adin Jeenes won the Hurley sponsor that dude has been RIPPING for years. DESERVED!

++ Here are a few of Tyron Kansley’s shots from Monday ! SUCH fun waves at this beach break near Silverstroom. This spot is on a private beach but luckily we had a key for the gate, so we didn’t have to do the 4km walk along soft beach sand (i would have died along the way) to get there. Stefan Lindeque was flipping ripping, just look at the pics. . you know he made that TONNEL.++
